Scrapbook.com created, managed, and funded the Cards for Kindness programs from 2019 to 2022 when it had grown to become a global force for kindness and joy. In 2022, the Creative Kindness® Foundation was formed to expand the Cards for Kindness program and to launch additional charitable initiatives. Scrapbook.com continues to be our largest supporter and donor.

The generosity of the Scrapbook.com company and community made Creative Kindness® a reality and their continued gifts of time, funds, and in-kind services help us positively impact millions across the world.

Ronald McDonald House Charities, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

With the goal of keeping families together while getting necessary medical care, the Ronald McDonald House Charity chapters have been helping individuals since 1974. Their network of local chapters has helped millions of families with sick children get medical care, comfort, housing, and support. Cards for Kindness currently supports 31 Ronald McDonald Houses across the United States.

The Ronald McDonald Houses use the cards received from Cards for Kindness® to place into welcome baskets for new families, to celebrate birthdays, and to send well wishes.


Impact One Breast Cancer Foundation, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Impact One Breast Cancer Foundation is all about improving the quality of life for breast cancer fighters and ensuring they have the proper resources, support, and products along the way. Their team of survivors, medical staff, professionals, caregivers, and friends aims to lessen the financial and emotional burden that women experience during treatment and recovery. Part of their support involves a free, personalized Hope Box for patients.

The cards received are used in the Hope Boxes for inspiration, motivation, and encouragement for cancer fighters.


Kidsave International, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Kidsave International is a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure that no orphan or foster child is forgotten and that every child grows up in a family with love and hope for a successful future. Its innovative programs in the U.S. and around the world help older kids (ages 9-18) in foster care and orphanages find lasting connections and forever families.

The cards are given to volunteers, host families, and foster parents to give to their children.


The Kids With Courage Foundation, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Kids With Courage Foundation provides opportunities that empower, educate, and create positive outcomes in the lives of children, young people, and families whose lifelong journey includes battling Type 1 diabetes.

Kids With Courage provides kids with “Brave Boxes.” The boxes are a bundle of encouragement that are overflowing with essential tools and educational materials for patients at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Missouri. Since 2007, thousands of “Brave Boxes” have been delivered.

A card from Cards for Kindness is included in each “Brave Box” with a personal note of encouragement.


MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving), "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to end drunk driving, help fight, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.   

Cards for Kindness is happy to partner with MADD Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada. We support MADD by sending them a variety of card sentiments including “Thinking of You” and “Thank You” cards.


Operation Gratitude, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Each year, Operation Gratitude sends hundreds of thousands of care packages to the brave individuals who are currently serving in the armed forces, as well as first responders, veterans, wounded heroes, caregivers, and children of deployed troops.

Operation Gratitude includes cards in every care package they send out. They send cards for the recipients to use to write home to their loved ones.


Special Olympics Idaho, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Since 1971, Special Olympics Idaho has helped kids and adults with intellectual disabilities in Idaho train for and compete in sports. Throughout the year, Special Olympics Idaho offers 16 different sports, including football, basketball, swimming, track and field, and powerlifting.

The Special Olympics Idaho team uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to celebrate athletes’ birthdays as well as use the blank cards to write heartfelt messages to their athletes.


Bring Smiles To Seniors, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Bring Smiles To Seniors is an organization that serves senior communities in all 50 states. Ron Tyson, their founder, established this program in honor of his grandmother, Lola Mae. When he visited her at a nursing home, he noticed that many residents did not receive visitors. Many did not receive cards from anyone. Because of this, Ron decided that he wanted to make a difference in the lives of seniors.

Bring Smiles to Seniors delivers handmade, handwritten cards to seniors in nursing homes, assisted and independent living facilities, and those who are homebound. Cards for Kindness provide them with thousands of handmade cards every year for this purpose!


Hospice of the Valley, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Hospice of the Valley is Arizona’s leading provider of end-of-life care. They are among the nation’s oldest and largest not-for-profit hospices and remain committed to their original mission of bringing comfort, dignity, and compassionate care to the community.

Cards for Kindness® is pleased to support Hospice of the Valley Houses by providing them with a variety of cards, including “Thinking of You” and “Just for You” cards.


Nourish PHX, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

From the 1980s until the present day, NourishPhx has had a rich history of providing services for the working poor in Phoenix, Arizona. NourishPhx is a trusted community hub serving vulnerable individuals and families by offering resources (a food pantry and clothing closet) to satisfy immediate needs and provide pathways to self-sufficiency.

Cards for Kindness sends the Nourish Phx team cards, which they put in the toiletry kits they give out to the community.


Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Sunshine Acres Children’s Home in Mesa, Arizona, has been open since 1954 and has been home to more than 2,000 children since they opened their doors. Sunshine Acres provides a loving, wholesome home for children who are separated from their parents and helps them establish long-term relationships with stable parental figures, preparing them for success in adult life.

Sunshine Acres uses the cards they receive to celebrate children’s birthdays, holidays, or as special notes of encouragement. The cards are also used to write thank you notes and special messages to those who help Sunshine Acres.


My Stuff Bags Foundation, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

With the assistance of thousands of caring people across the country, the My Stuff Bags Foundation provides children separated from their families, homes, and possessions with new hope. Children entering foster care, crisis centers, and homeless shelters are provided with bright blue individual duffel bags filled with toys, books, stuffed animals, school supplies, toiletries, and a warm blanket - all theirs to keep as they adjust to their new environment and surroundings.

The handmade cards you create are placed in each child's duffel bag to give them hope and a much-needed smile.


The YMCA Supportive Housing Campus, Des Moines, Iowa, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The YMCA Supportive Housing Campus in Des Moines, Iowa, helps people experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness move into stable and secure permanent housing. The YMCA provides services that help people meet their basic needs and achieve their life goals.

The YMCA uses the cards that they receive from Cards Kindness to celebrate resident birthdays as well as send uplifting messages to their residents.


Soldiers’ Angels, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Soldiers' Angels ensure that no soldier goes unloved. Providing resources, aid, and comfort to veterans, soldiers, and their families, Soldiers' Angels is a compassionate organization dedicated to assisting and honoring military members. Soldiers' Angels has a global network that provides support to all 50 states, Guam, Puerto Rico, and 24 international countries. 

Soldiers’ Angels uses the cards they receive to send to soldiers, veterans, their families, and volunteers who make the program possible.



Cultivate Goodness, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Cultivate Goodness, founded in 2019 in Gilbert, Arizona, seeks out areas of greatest need and helps to provide relief, cultivating goodness in their local communities and worldwide.  They do the legwork by preparing and organizing meaningful projects and events in their community.  Their website has information about how to volunteer, how to shop for people in need, how to host a drive, and how businesses can partner with them.

Cards for Kindness sends a variety of holiday cards to the team at Cultivate Goodness. The team uses the cards they receive to spread kindness to the many organizations they support.


Classroom Central, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Since opening its doors in 2002, Classroom Central has expanded into six school districts, serving more than 127,000 students in South Carolina. Teachers and other school personnel can receive free supplies if 50% or more of their students receive free or reduced-price lunches.

Classroom Central is about more than just basic school supplies. When a teacher "shops" at their Free Store or Mobile Free Store, they are eligible to receive additional free materials that include essential school supplies, cleaning supplies, personal care items, STEM and literacy materials, lesson plans, books, and much more.

Classroom Central uses the cards they get from Cards for Kindness® to thank teachers, celebrate holidays, and praise students for their work in school. 


Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels was founded in 2012 in celebration of Amanda Hope’s life.  Amanda had a three-year fight with leukemia and a nine-month battle with a brain tumor.  The mission of Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels is to bring dignity and comfort to the harsh world of childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. They help families have a voice and choice in the health care system, provide Comfycozy’s for Chemo, which is an adaptive apparel line that gives dignity and control back to patients undergoing chemotherapy, as well as many other resources.

Cards are given to children and young adults to celebrate birthdays.   


Icing Smiles, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Icing Smiles provides custom cakes and other treats for families who have a child with a serious illness. The goal of Icing Smiles is to create a custom cake for the ill child, or their sibling, that provides a temporary escape from worry and creates a positive memory during a difficult time.

Icing Smiles uses the cards that they receive from Cards for Kindness when they deliver cakes and treats to children and families.


Survivor Cards, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Survivor Cards is a network of trauma survivors and volunteers, encouraging others with messages of hope, healing, and solidarity through the magic of snail mail and handwritten notes.  In every envelope that they mail out is a handmade card, resources, freebies, and the hope for a better day.  In 2022, they have begun to set up at local events to discuss the importance of destigmatizing victimhood and PTSD, as well as the value of trauma-informed care.

Survivor Cards uses the cards they receive from Card for Kindness to give to veterans, children, and adults to let them know they are being thought of.


Maryhurst, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

In Kentucky, Maryhurst is saving kids’ lives. Their work prevents abuse, restores hope, and empowers survivors. For girls whose histories of trauma have left them without a safe home, their residential homes provide a place of healing. As soon as kids are ready, their transitional living and aftercare services create pathways to permanence, stability, and better futures.

Maryhurst uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to celebrate the birthdays of the kids who live there and to cheer them up by giving them motivational and inspirational cards.


Hearing, Speech & Deaf Center, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Hearing, Speech, and Deaf Center (HSDC) is a nonprofit serving the Puget Sound area of Washington. Their mission is to foster inclusive and accessible communities through communication, advocacy, and education. They offer services for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have speech-language differences, as well as their families and friends. They also offer training for organizations that wish to better serve deaf and hard-of-hearing community members.

HSDC uses the cards received from Cards for Kindness to provide uplifting messages to clients.


Kid in the Corner, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Kid in the Corner is a grassroots organization started by Zach’s family and friends shortly after he died by suicide.

Kid in the Corner's goal is to engage youth in conversation about mental illness, encourage peer relationships, and make them feel supported and a part of their community.

Kid in the Corner has implemented “The Penny Pledge Program.” The “Penny Pledge” program is trauma-informed and focuses on providing youth with the tools, skills, and language needed to shatter the stigma and save lives.

Kid in the Corner uses “friendship” and “kindness” themed cards from Cards for Kindness during their community and school outreach programs.


Phoenix Rescue Mission, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Phoenix Rescue Mission is a place of hope, healing, and new beginnings for men, women, and children in our community struggling with homelessness, addiction, and trauma. The programs and services offered at Phoenix Rescue Mission include residential addiction recovery programs, vocational development and education, the Hope for Hunger Food Bank, and Hope Coach Mobile Street Outreach.

The Phoenix Rescue Mission uses cards received from Cards for Kindness to provide community members with uplifting personal messages.


Heritage Area Agency on Aging, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Heritage Area Agency on Aging is a nonprofit organization providing innovative services and access to local resources that improve the quality of life for older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers. The Heritage Area Agency on Aging offers the following services and programs: Nutrition and Wellness, Elder Rights, Caregiver Support, Housing and Transportation, and other resources.

The cards that the Heritage Area Agency on Aging gets from Cards for Kindness are used to celebrate the birthdays of their clients.


Dignity Health, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

This award-winning hospital, located in Arizona, is home to a variety of services, including emergency care, a pediatric unit, a family birth center, respiratory therapy, heart health, and more. Their focus is on providing the highest standards of care while healing patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Cards received from Cards for Kindness are used in a variety of hospitals. The cards are given to volunteers, nurses, doctors, and patients. 


The Small Things, “Cards for Kindness Card Recipient”

The mission of The Small Things nonprofit is to provide comprehensive assistance for vulnerable children and their families in Nkoaranga, Tanzania, not only in moments of crisis but with thoughtful and long-term plans.

Cards for Kindness is happy to send a variety of card sentiments to lift the spirits of families in Tanzania. The cards they receive include birthday, kids motivational, and holiday cards.


Send A Smile Today, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The mission of Send A Smile Today is to let cancer patients know they are never alone by regularly mailing uplifting greeting cards, from the time of cancer diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. Cards are mailed monthly to anyone of any age with any type of cancer in the United States and are meant to provide hope, love, and support.

Send A Smile Today uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to send to cancer recipients to let them know they are being thought of.



Families for HoPE, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

With their children as inspiration, six mothers came together in 2006 to form Families for HoPE. HPE is a brain malformation that can range from mild to severe. Families for HoPE seeks to provide support for all stages in the HPE journey: families of unborn infants receiving a diagnosis of HPE; families, of children with a diagnosis of HPE, and families grieving the death of a child with a diagnosis of HPE.

Families for HoPE use the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to celebrate birthdays and for send “thinking of you” cards.


The Valentine Project Organization, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Valentine Project works to support children from birth to age 21 whose lives are affected by cancer or chronic illness.  The project works to cultivate compassion and joy for these children.  Besides sending out Valentine’s Day cards each year, the Valentine Project also has a kindness card program. 

Cards for Kindness sends the Valentine Project the following cards:  Valentine’s Day cards, kindness themed cards, as well as thank you cards.


Hospice of the Carolina Foothills

At Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, everything they do centers around loving and caring for patients and their communities. Hospice of the Carolina Foothills offers specialized end-of-life care for patients in the final phase of illness, helps relieve symptoms associated with serious illness, and also provides grief support counseling.

Cards for Kindness is happy to send “Thinking of You” cards to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.


StandUp for Kids (Orange County, Worcester, Hampton Roads), "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

StandUp For Kids serves unaccompanied homeless and at-risk youth and young parents with children of their own up to their 25th birthday. Their ongoing mission is to end the cycle of youth homelessness. To do this, they have built four core programs in many of the cities where they operate as volunteer teams. They focus on street outreach, outreach centers, mentoring, and housing. Their volunteer teams work to build trust and become a consistent resource to stabilize and otherwise help those youth that the rest of society ignores.

StandUp For Kids uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to celebrate birthdays as well as to write special, uplifting personal messages.

 


Operation Help A Hero, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The programs at Operation Help A Hero help support military units and families as they prepare for separation, endure the challenges of deployment, and as they transition back to the US. Operation Help A Hero oversees the following ongoing projects: OHH Baby Showers, Operation Christmas Spirit, Operation Camp Joy, and Operation Enduring Support.

Operation Help A Hero uses the cards received from Cards for Kindness to help support the several programs they oversee.


Christmas Without Cancer, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Christmas Without Cancer provides gifts and basic necessities to Chicagoland families with members stricken with cancer. Since 2003, the organization has quietly identified and adopted multiple families in late fall, providing them with gift cards for groceries, medications, gas, and other "needed" items by the Christmas season.

Christmas Without Cancer uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to send families "Thinking of You" cards as well as holiday cards throughout the holidays.


Veteran’s Heritage Project, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The mission of the Veterans Heritage Project is to connect students with veterans in order to honor veterans, preserve America’s heritage, and develop future leaders. The Veteran's Heritage Project helps to bridge the gap between civilian and military life and strives to develop students’ character and civic responsibility while recognizing our veterans’ legacy of service.

The Veterans Heritage Project uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to recognize birthdays as well as celebrate holidays with veterans.


Daniel D. Cantor Senior Center, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Daniel D. Cantor Center provides a wide variety of daily activities that help everyone enjoy a day full of dignity, purpose, and happiness. We have three unique programs for each stage of senior development. Whether one of our members requires extra educational guidance or would like to engage in recreational activities, we strive to provide many options so our members leave each day feeling fulfilled. 

The Daniel D. Cantor Senior Center uses the cards they receive to celebrate birthdays.


Mobile Meals, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Mobile Meals of Toledo helps those needing assistance with dieting and meal preparation, regardless of income, so they can remain in their homes and retain the dignity and independence they cherish. What’s more, home deliveries serve as a regular checkup on their clients’ health and wellbeing. Their 200 volunteers deliver approximately 300,000 nutrient-rich meals to homebound people who are elderly, ailing, or physically disabled every year.

Mobile Meals uses the cards they receive to spread cheer to those receiving meals through their program.


Banner Health, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

As the leading nonprofit provider of health care in every community they serve, Banner Health is deeply committed to their mission of making health care easier so life can be better. As a nonprofit, Banner Health exists to provide health care services to the communities we serve rather than generate profits.

Banner Health uses the cards that they receive from Cards for Kindness® to thank and recognize their medical teams and to send well wishes to patients.


Buellton Senior Center, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Buellton Senior Center in Buellton, California, helps to promote the common good and general welfare of the senior citizens and other members by providing nutritional, recreational, and transportation resources. In addition, they also partner with Meals on Wheels.

Cards for Kindness sends cards to the Buellton Senior Center. The cards are used to celebrate birthdays and holidays.


Southern Maine Agency on Aging, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

For almost five decades, the Southern Maine Agency on Aging has provided the resources, programs, and people to ensure that older adults and adults living with disabilities in Cumberland and York counties maintain their vitality well past the age of sixty. They offer many programs, including Meals on Wheels, family caregiver support, Medicare counseling, financial counseling, and much more.

The Southern Maine Agency on Aging uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to celebrate seasons with their clients.


Happy Trails for Kids, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Happy Trails for Kids provides exciting and fun-filled overnight camp experiences for children in the foster care system.  Their programming extends well beyond camp.  They offer year-round events, weekly extracurricular programs, as well as older youth initiatives.  

Cards for Kindness is happy to provide birthday cards for the kids attending the camp. 



Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The mission of the Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center is to facilitate active aging and enhance the quality of life for older adults in their communities. They are a nonprofit that provides services to seniors in the Bulverde Spring Branch, Texas, area. Their current programs include: Meals on Wheels, Senior Outreach, Social Activities, and Health and Fitness.

The cards that Cards for Kindness sends to the Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center are used to celebrate birthdays and holidays.


Card Care Connection, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Card Care Connection is an organization dedicated to providing sympathetic messages and motivational cards to those who face cancer. Any person with cancer, no matter how far along they are in the disease, is eligible to receive a card.

Card Care Connection distributes the uplifting cards that they receive from Cards for Kindness all over the United States to people who are facing cancer.


Love For Our Elders, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Love For Our Elders believes that no one should ever feel alone.  They send letters of love to elderly people around the world in need of a pick-me-up.  Love For Our Elders sends letters of love to isolated elders in eleven countries and counting.  Besides sending letters, they have also shared video messages, delivered hygiene supplies to senior communities, and facilitated penpal programs.

Love For Our Elders sends cards received from Cards for Kindness to elders all across the country as well as internationally.  

Handle With Care, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Handle With Care is an organization dedicated to assisting the unhoused communities of Portland, Oregon, and Los Angeles, California. The Handle With Care volunteers pack and distribute care packages with supplies to community members while they are without housing. The care packages include food, personal care items, and resource guides to other social services, all while making a personal connection with each person they meet.

The Handle With Care team uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness by placing them in the care packages they give out to the community.



Community Action Partnership of North Alabama, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Community Action Partnership of North Alabama provides human and social services in almost one-half of Alabama’s 67 counties. They offer assistance with many services, including Meals on Wheels, Children’s Services, Energy Assistance, Senior Companions, Foster Grandparent Program, and much more.

The Community Action Partnership of North Alabama uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to celebrate birthdays and holidays with Meals on Wheels clients.


Shoebox Ministry, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Shoebox Ministry was founded in 1988 with the specific goal of meeting the personal hygiene needs of people experiencing homelessness and others in need of help. They coordinate the collection and distribution of toiletry items for agencies. The agencies serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness, domestic violence survivors, people in recovery, the working poor, and other people who need but cannot afford hygiene items in the greater Phoenix, Arizona, area.

Shoebox Ministry uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to place uplifting cards in the toiletry kits they distribute.


Spectrum Generations, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Spectrum Generations, the Central Maine Agency on Aging and Disability Resource Center, is a leading provider of information and advice, referrals, and programs and activities for adults over 50 years of age.

Spectrum Generations offers information on services such as fitness and exercise, health and wellness, proper nutrition, adult day services, caregiver support, health insurance counseling, assistance at home, seminars, financial management, Alzheimer’s and dementia services, Medicare and Medicaid help, as well as social activities.

Cards received from Cards for Kindness are given to seniors when they get meals delivered to their homes or when it's a holiday.

 


The Confetti Foundation, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The mission of the Confetti Foundation is to supply birthday parties to children who have to spend their birthday in a hospital, pediatric oncology clinic, or hospice facility. The Confetti Foundation started supplying themed birthday party kits to children in 2014 and now partners with 41 hospitals across the United States.  Each party box kit is unique and hand-packaged with a special theme.  Through the party kits, children of all ages are celebrated and honored on their special day. 

The Confetti Foundation uses the cards received from Cards for Kindness to help children celebrate birthdays.


The Center for The Rights Of Abused Children, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The mission of The Center for the Rights of Abused Children is to protect, change laws, and inspire people to ensure every abused child has a bright future. Every single day, the center helps abused and neglected children by providing legal advice and representation free of charge. Their Children’s Law Clinic is a lifeline for young children as well as young adults who have aged out of foster care and face adulthood alone.

The Center for the Rights of Abused Children uses the cards it receives from Cards for Kindness to give to children on their birthdays as well as to celebrate holidays and other special events.


Newark Senior Center, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Newark Senior Center is the only nationally accredited senior center in the state of Delaware.  It is home to nearly 4,000 members.  The mission of the Center is to enhance the lives of the 50+ community by providing resources and opportunities for growth in body, mind, and spirit. The center provides a therapeutic pool, a fitness center, a meal program, enrichment opportunities, transportation, and the opportunity for socialization. 

Cards for Kindness are distributed within the Newark Senior Center to celebrate seniors’ birthdays.

 


The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Northwest Wisconsin, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Northwest Wisconsin helps older people and people with physical, developmental, or intellectual disabilities get the help they need to live with dignity and safety, be as independent as possible, and have the best quality of life possible.

They offer benefits specialists, caregiver support, community programming, dementia care specialists, nutrition programs, transportation and much more.

Cards for Kindness sends birthday and holiday cards to the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Northwest Wisconsin. They use these cards to celebrate birthdays and holidays.


Feed More - Richmond, Virginia, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Feed More’s Meals on Wheels Program helps keep homebound seniors and disabled neighbors independent and in their own homes for as long as possible through providing fresh, diet-specific, made-from-scratch meals in their community kitchen. Their Meals on Wheels provide meals with a friendly smile and a safety check every weekday.

Feed More uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to send “Happy Hello” cards to clients and “Thank You” cards to volunteers.


Senior Services Consortium of Ramsey County, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

The Senior Services Consortium of Ramsey County, Minnesota, brings hope and health to adults. The consortium is a nonprofit organization composed of eight member agencies that provide Meals on Wheels and other senior services in Ramsey County. Consortium members make sure that all eligible Ramsey County residents can get daily meals delivered to their homes by working together.

Cards for Kindness sends cards to the Senior Services Consortium of Ramsey County. These cards are used to celebrate the birthdays of clients.


Age Well, "Cards for Kindness Recipient"

Developed by staff members and over 1,000 incredible volunteers, the services at Age Well are designed to meet the diverse needs of their clients, families, and caregivers. Age Well serves over 10,000 individuals each year, and do not charge for services provided. Age Well provides many services, including a helpline, Meals on Wheels and community meals, wellness support, and other helpful resources.

Age Well uses the cards they receive from Cards for Kindness to celebrate birthdays and send other well wishes to clients.


The Phoenix Children’s Foundation, “Cards for Kindness Recipient”

The Phoenix Children’s Foundation supports Phoenix Children’s mission to advance hope, healing and world-class health care for children and their families in Arizona and beyond. They place children and families at the center of all that they do and work on investing in innovative research, including emerging treatments, tools and technologies.

Cards for Kindness is happy to support the Phoenix Children’s Foundation by sending them birthday and thinking of you cards.


Ascend Health

The mission at Ascend Health Hospice is to deliver a personalized approach to comprehensive hospice care and services with integrity and compassion.  Their goal is to honor and respect the individuals as they prepare for their final journey by providing an individualized plan of care, specific to their dementia needs.  

Cards for Kindness is happy to provide “birthday” and “thinking of you” cards to Ascend Hospice. 



People Places

The mission at People Places is to foster resilience in children and families so they can thrive.  Founded in 1973, People Places has been instrumental in establishing and shaping treatment and  foster care locally and nationwide for 50 years.  

Cards for Kindness is happy to provide People Places with a variety of cards for children  including birthday and holiday cards.  



Ele’s Place, “In Loving Memory” Albums Recipient

Ele’s Place is a healing center in Michigan for grieving children, teens, young adults, and their families. Four branch locations support families through Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Flint, Lansing and beyond. The Ele’s Place grief support group programs offer children and teens an emotionally safe environment that encourages trust and sharing.


Survivor Cards, “In Loving Memory” Albums Recipient

Survivor Cards is a network of trauma survivors and volunteers encouraging others with messages of hope, healing, and solidarity through various programs, which started with snail mail and handwritten notes. The vision at Survivor Cards is for every survivor to know that they are part of something larger, that there is a community of people rooting for them, and that they hold power in their recovery and knowledge in their healing that can be passed on to others.


Kid In The Corner, “In Loving Memory” Album Recipient

Kid in the Corner is a nonprofit organization located in Phoenix.  Kid in the Corner was founded by the family of Zach Sumner after his death by suicide.  Kid in the Corner's goal is to engage youth in conversation about mental illness, encourage peer relationships, and make them feel supported and a part of their community. 


Bo’s Place, “In Loving Memory” Albums Recipient

Bo’s Place is a Houston nonprofit bereavement center that offers multiple grief support services for children, families, and adults, and provides education and resources for those who assist people in grief. Bo’s Place is the only free on-going grief support program in the greater Houston area for children and their families.


Hayden’s House of Healing, “In Loving Memory” Albums Recipient

The mission behind Hayden’s House of Healing, located in New Jersey, is to provide a safe, tranquil space for bereaved mothers, fathers, couples, children, and families to heal. Hayden’s House offers retreats as well as grief resources for families.
